Second Beach

A few weeks ago Ethan and I took a long weekend and made our way to the Olympic Peninsula. We spent the first night camping on Second Beach and loved it so much we decided to stay another.

The trail to Second Beach is just short of a mile and loops you through a forest of mossy trees. Eventually, you come to a point in the trail where you can hear the ocean and the sea stacks start to come into view inbetween the branches. It is a view I don't think Ethan and I will ever forget. It stopped us dead in our tracks. We just held hands and stared in awe, thinking about what a beautiful life it is we lead together.
