Sand Flats Recreation Area

Campground: Sand Flats Recreation Area, Moab, Utah

A few weekends ago Ethan and I spent the weekend in MOAB aka the most soul healing place we have ever stepped foot in. We seriously believe in this place. It has never once done us wrong. We keep coming back. I suppose that's why the motto of the town is " Moab, always and always".

We had Harrison with us so we were able to explore all the dog friendly places Moab has to offer. Sand Flats Recreation Area allows dogs as well as some of the local diners we ate at. Dead Horse Point Sate Park does allow dogs on the trails which was a very nice surprise. Canyonlands National Park does NOT allow dogs so Ethan opted to stay in the truck while I hopped out and got some shots. Overall, another magnificently healing weekend in Moab. We expected nothing less.
